Our September meeting will feature Jessica Whitaker, President of the Sunapee Region Mycology Club, to introduce us to the basics of mycology, growing your own mushrooms, and more. The schedule will be refreshments and social time at 3 PM, followed by a brief meeting and presentation. You are welcome to bring others interested in this topic.
Special Request for SGs: The Knotweed Taskforce needs native sun-loving plants for the library hillside. The knotweed has been removed, so now we need plants to replace it. Please bring rudbeckia, asters, joe pye, goat’s beard, or anything you have to the meeting. We can also come and dig out anything you want to donate. The Knotweed Taskforce group has no funding so we rely on donations to get the work done. On Saturday, September 12 from 9-11 AM, there will be a special planting session.
