Grantham Conservation Commission Presents: Local Success in Restoring the American Chestnut Tree

The American Chestnut Foundation and the New London Conservation Commission will discuss the history of four billion trees being virtually wiped out by blight and the ongoing effort to restore the American Chestnut. These two organizations have partnered on a restoration effort in New London, and the Grantham Conservation Commission is looking to mirror this effort in Grantham over the next few years.
