The Sunapee Gardeners are volunteers who come together to enhance our community by planting and maintaining the many gardens and shrubs in the Sunapee and Georges Mills areas. Our focus is the beautification of our town through our gardening endeavors and educational programs. We plan, plant and maintain many gardens throughout Sunapee.

Each year, the Sunapee Gardeners use funds provided through donations and from the Town to purchase plants for the gardens. Each Active member of the Sunapee Gardeners is assigned to a garden team and is responsible for planting and taking turns tending that garden during the growing season. The holiday season is brightened up by greenery that the gardeners add to planters and window boxes in town. Many businesses in the harbor enjoy decorating with wreaths arranged for and delivered by the gardeners. In total more than 1,000 volunteer hours are spent planting the gardens throughout town and keeping them looking beautiful for the benefit of all to see.
